Agent Team: The Return of the Man — Chapter 3 surprise search

Agent M and Agent Q continued through the woods. They were making a circle around the edge of the area they were searching. So far they had found nothing.
“Wait.” whispered Agent Q. “What’s that?”
Two figures dressed in black were making their way through the woods.
“Let’s follow them.” Agent M suggested.
However, a closer look at these figures revealed that they were not dressed in the FBI’s usual black, but in black sweatshirts. Agents M and Q had only been following them a short time when the figures whirled.
“Really.” said Agent Q. The figures were Agent H and Agent S.
“Great job.” Agent M commented. “We never knew you knew we were there.”
“Sorry.” apologized Agent H. “We thought you were the poacher.”
“We thought you were the poacher too.” replied Agent Q.
So the two teams continued their searches.
Soon Agent Q and M were walking along a fence at the edge of the park/forest.
Then Agent M spotted something in the woods. “Hey, what’s that?” he/she asked.
Agent Q took a closer look. “It’s another trap!” He/she cried.
Agent M came to look. “Wow!” He/she exclaimed. “This is a great clue!”
Agent Q looked at his/her map and marked an X on the spot were they were. “Now we can come back and find it later.” he/she explained.
“Look!” cried Agent M. “These broken sticks and trampled plants look like a trail. I bet this is how the poacher got here.”
“Let’s follow. Maybe we’ll find his hideout.” suggested Agent Q. He/she folded the map and put it in his/her pocket. “Let’s go!”
Meanwhile, the Man sat in the trees. He had heard the Agents exclaiming over the trap and climbed a tree. Now he watched the Agents make their way toward him.
“Don’t move or I’ll shoot.” The Agents looked up to see a man in dressed in black sitting in a tree. He was holding a gun and pointing it at them.” All right, you’re coming with me.” he said.
Now, neither Agent had ever been held at gunpoint before. But they decided not to take any risks. They walked in front of the Man as he took them through the woods to the edge of the park/forest. The Man opened a section in the fence, and they saw an old rundown house ahead. They went through the fence, and continued to walk, unsure of what lay ahead of them. But they realized that they were being kidnapped, and probably by the poacher.

Agent Team: Return of the Man — Chapter 2 new plan

Agent L stood up. “I need to inform the other agents of this. You should go tell your Agent team.”
Agent P stood up. “Sure thing.”
Meanwhile, Agent T had arrived at his/her post near the President’s campsite. As soon as He/she had seen that the campsite was there, he/she had walkie-talkied base.
“Outspy to base, do you read me?” he/she had said.
“Loud and clear” Agent M had replied. He/she thought he/she had a good idea of what was coming next. So he/she was surprised when Agent T said,
“The springtime robins have returned!”
“Yes!” Agent M had cried. In the hideout, he/she had begun to jump up and down and pump his/her arms. “Yes, yes, yes!”
Agent T had wished he/she could do that, but that would definitely give away his/her hiding spot. Instead, he/she had waited and watched.
Then Agent M’s voice had came over the walkie-talkie. “Return to base. We’ll wait for Agent P.”

Soon all the Agents had returned to base. Agent P explained what Agent L had said.
“That means the poacher is still on the loose!” cried Agent T.
“This is more exciting then I’d hoped!” Agent J whispered to Agent S.
“Wow! I never expected a real mystery.” commented Agent Q. “I thought this only happened in books and movies.”
“We should get started right away.”declared Agent M. “Let’s split up to search these woods. Maybe we’ll find his hideout. I’ll go with XXXXXXXXXX.”
“I claim XXXXXXXXXX !” called Agent J.
“I’ll go with XXXXXXXXXX.” said Agent S.
“Great.” groaned Agent T. “That leaves me with XXXXXXXXXX .”
“What’s wrong with me?” asked Agent P.
Agent T continued to glare at Agent J. “Whatever.”
So the Agent team set off to search the forest. Agents M and Q searched the North, Agents J and N searched the West, Agents H and S searched the East, and Agents T and P searched the South.
Meanwhile, the FBI had already sent out search teams to comb the area for any sign of the poacher.
“But this is no ordinary poacher. They said he looked like one of us.” said Agent X. “I think something else is up.”
“I hope those Agents don’t try anything.” said Agent L. “They could be put in danger.”
Little did she know what would put the Agents in jeopardy and the FBI in panic.

Agent Team: Return of the Man — Chapter 1 drill

Note to those who have never heard of the Agent team: This is a sequel to Agent team: The Man in Black. If you ever have any interest in reading the first book, this will completely spoil it. Both were written by me, mainly for the fun of it.

Chapter 1 drill

The Agents were gathered in the hideout.
“All right team, let’s move!” declared Agent M.
The Agents moved. They knew what to do. It was the same drill every time they met together. Sure, they switched roles, but there were only so many Agents, so sooner or later you were back where you started.
Anyhow, the Agents moved. Agent T took off through the woods. Agents Q and P headed down the trail in opposite directions. Agents N and J headed through the woods in yet another direction. The rest of the Agents filed into the woods walking to their various posts along the trail, except Agent M, who stayed in the hideout. Thus began the drill.

Soon Agents N and P arrived at a road near the entrance to the woods. They sat down in the trees next to it so they were hidden, but could see the road.
“This is boring.” sighed Agent S. ” Why do we have to do this every time?”
“Oh, I know what you mean.” declared Agent J. “It makes me want to quit the Agent team sometimes. All we do is investigate silly things like gloves and buttons and have boring drills like this one.”
“I know.” replied Agent S “It’s so boring sitting here and watching nothing.
“The only reason why I don’t quit the Agent team is because of the President.” sighed Agent J.
“I wish he’d come back.” Agent S said wistfully.
“Me too.” said Agent J. “Then things would get interesting. I almost wish we hadn’t caught the Man.”
“Yeah” exclaimed Agent S. “We could get guns and shoot him!”
“Like deer!” exclaimed Agent J. “We should go deer hunting. I need to suggest that to Agent M. Bam! Bam! Bam!” He/she mimed shooting a gun.
Agent S and J began to pretend they were shooting rabbits squirrels and deer, hunting in the woods.

Meanwhile, Agent P had made his/her way toward the clearing in the woods. But to his/her surprise, the clearing was filled with tents. He/she gasped, then grinned. The President was back! A man stopped him/her at the entrance to the clearing.
“The lilies are beautiful, but there are to many dandelions.” Agent P said thoughtfully.
“However,” replied the man, “they add color to a field.”
Agent P entered the clearing. Inside one of the tents he/she met Agent L.
“Hey! How’ve you been? asked Agent L.
“Fine.” replied Agent P “But it’s been boring here without you guys. I almost wish we’d never found the trap and seen Agent X.
Agent L frowned. “What trap?”
Agent P told her about the trap they’d found. “It has Agent X’s fingerprints on it.” he/she explained. “We got them when we met him on the trail.”
“Agent X never met you on the trail. And we never set any traps, I’m sure. Are you sure it was Agent X?”
Agent P shrugged. “Who else dresses completely in black and walks down the trail? He must have been one of you guys. Agent M said he looked like one of us on a drill.”
“I’m 99 percent sure that was not one of our agents.” Agent L replied. “And I’m 150 percent sure something is very wrong.”
